Oscars 2014

The Academy Awards red carpet was a great exibition of the most beautiful gowns, well some of them. We have decided to divide this report in the gowns we liked the most, the suits we liked the most and the least favorites looks.

Best Gowns

1. Kate Hudson
"Dazzling Queen"
In Atelier Versace; Kate Hudson dazzle her way through the red carpet and she just dropped jaws on her way. She looked stunning and when she got to the stage to present she took the cape off and she looked equally gorgeous.

2. Sandra Bullock
"Timeless Beauty"
She just killed it in this simple but sophisticated navy blue gown from Alexander McQueen. It wasn't to big or to over the top but she just looked stunning. The dress is very her style she didn't try too hard and that's what made her look great.

3. Kristin Chenoweth
"Golden Woman"
Now this is what you call a dress. In a great design by Roberto Cavalli Kristin stole the looks with her simple hair and makeup, letting her dress steal the attention. We love this dress!

4. Viola Davis
"Green Statement"
Have you heard dressed for the ocation? That's what Viola did showing up to the Oscars in this beautiful Escada green dress. Flawless hair, flawless makeup and great accesories. One of the greatest looks.

5. Camilla Alves
"Greatest Plus One Ever"
Proving she's just the most beautiful plus one in history of award season, Camilla closed the events attendance in a very elegant soft pink gown. She's a gorgeous woman that would look great in anything but this gown actually caught my attention very gorgeous and classy.

6. Jessica Biel
"Bringing sexy always"
Her body is out of this planet, it's PERFECT! What we love about this dress is how gorgeous it looks on her even better than the model on the runway. On the Chanel runway this dress was shown very loose, but on Jessica it fitted perfectley.

7. Idina Menzel
"Ball Gown"
In a great green Vera Wang full gown, Idina was one of my fave looks. Her hair and makeup was perfect for this dress. And the statement necklace was stunning. Great look!

8. Jennifer Lawrence
"Peplum Red-y"
As we all expected she arrived (or fell) in Dior. The color red definitely suits Jennifer proven twice with this simple strapless peplum gown. We liked how exquisite her hair and makeup looked, it was flawless. Another recycled thing that worked for Jen was the backless necklace, this time shorter but as elegant as last year.

9. Cate Blanchett
"Bright Vision"
The Oscar winner surprised everyone with her gown choice, because we all thought she’ll go bold and colorfull. Instead Blanchett went soft and feminine and colorless. The gown was beautiful the color was as the color of her skin tone with fine embroidery all over the gown that looked like she was nude with crystals on her skin. A classic hair and makeup and her earrings were amazing.

10. Charlize Theron
"Like a Mermaid"
Charlize got a lot of attention when she arrived at the red carpet in her gorgeous Dior black gown. The statuesque actress wore the dress like a royal princess and it was so damn flattering on her it seem unreal. The detail of see through at the end of the dress, and the clear straps was absolutely beautiful.  Her jewelry was pretty awesome too and expensive.

11. Bette Midler
"Better than Ever"
The actress surprised me in this gorgeous Reem Accra red lace gown. Very body hugging and for her age she looked very amazing. It fitted perfectly, the color looked stunning on her skin tone and she had the right accessories.

12. Olivia Wilde
"Pregnant Elegancy"
In a gorgeous Valentino gown Olivia was my favorite pregnant woman of the night. The black gown with white details on the back was breath taking and very appropriate for her. The overall look was very classy.

Best Suits

The men really step it up this time it was really nice seeing most of them looking dapper and elegant. Some of them were classic in black and white, some took risks. These are our six fave men looks in suits. First Bradley Cooper, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael B. Jordan, Michael Strahan, Ethan Hawke and Leonardo Di Caprio.

Least Favorite looks

This looks aren't necesarily bad or awful but in each case I expected more from them. In the case of Julia I really didn't like this dress for her, it was a beautiful dress but not for her. Jared Leto was very nice but I hated that Mickey Mouse red bow tie. And Margot Robbie was my biggest dissapointment with that dramatic hair color change that I don't like at all.
